Week 9/24 to 9/28 (Week 4)

This week we will:

  • Complete tone quiz
  • Learn 3 self-introduction questions
  • Learn numbers 11-99
  • Learn to write characters 6-10
  • Teach your parents correct pronunciation for numbers 1-10
Homework: 
-Character sheet 6-10 due Wednesday 
-Teach your parents numbers 1-10 signature sheet due Friday for a quiz grade 
-Number quiz next Monday (10/1)
-Introduction Test in Week 6

Tone Practice

How to practice for your tone quiz on Friday (listening): 

Step 1: Write down the sentence you see on a piece of paper. 
Step 2: Click on "HERE" and listen to the tone for the sentence. Listen three times each and write down the correct tone mark (keep in mind the 3 rules of tone mark placement) 
Step 3: Check your answer at the bottom of the page

This week we will:
  • Review Pinyin alphabet
  • Review tones
  • Learn rules about tone mark placements
  • Review class commands
  • Learn about pictographic characters
  • Learn your Chinese name

-Class supplies due Wednesday
-Study Pinyin and tone marks for class commands for Wednesday
-Class command quiz on Friday 
-Your name character sheet due next Monday
